What are Coder and BlitzOS?
Coder's documentation says it is not a SaaS or fully managed offering. A team deploys Coder in its own cloud, data center, Kubernetes cluster, or other supported environment. Terraform templates define workspaces.
BlitzOS provides the hosted VM and browser interface. One workspace includes a terminal, structured Claude and Codex chat, public previews, and a fixed resource bundle.
Coder has two agent paths. Coder Agents is its own model-agnostic agent, not a wrapper around Claude Code or Codex. The older Coder Tasks path supports tools such as Claude Code, Aider, and Goose through template modules. Tasks entered Extended Support on June 2, 2026 and is scheduled for removal from new releases starting with v2.37 on Sept 1, 2026.

Coder's own site does not publish a Premium dollar amount. The AWS listing does not say the $1,200 dimension is per user, so this page does not present it that way.
